• John enjoys Ceol Mor and his favourite tunes are The Unjust Incarceration, closely followed by The Lament For Patrick Og MacCrimmon.
• He plays a set of fully silver mounted David Naill pipes (1996).
• John highly recommends Chapter One in Dublin and Dwyer's in Waterford. Both are his favourite restaurants.
