• Bernard previously played with the Gordon Pipes & Drums, Heather Pipes & Drums and Holbæk Pipe Band, all of Denmark, and the Maple Ridge and Simon Fraser University Pipe Bands of Canada.
• His favourite solo pipers are Gordon Walker, Alan Bevan and Angus McColl.Bernard is a regular competitor on the solo scene, having won 'B' grade prizes at Cowal, London, Oban and Inverness.
• His favourite FMM performance was the band at the Worlds in 2004.
• He states Angus MacDonald, Tom Spiers, Jack & Terry Lee as his main piping influences.
• Bernard travels from Denmark to play with the band and has been known to be available to chat on MSN should any nice single girls be interested!
